    Sweet deal -
I did a Phenom X4 on an MSI M/B, 8GB PC-6400, 5 WD 330GB SATA II slapped into an old case with 400w P/S. (<$500). No CD/DVD; USB Thumb to boot to net installation.

Installing openSuse 11.2 XEN for multi server development, testing, play…

What sort of OS will you be installing?

I actually installed VMware ESXi recently and am in the process of doing P2V conversions of a handful of Debian servers and a single Windows 2k8 server.

My next step will be to complete the construction of an iSCSI SAN for central storage. Looking into openFiler and open-e as potential possibilities.
